Due to exceptional growth they are now looking to appoint a Senior Internal Auditor with Energy / Natural Resources experience.

Main Purpose of Job

Consult and support management at all levels in the risk management process. This will involve carrying out business risk workshops, implementation of Enterprise Risk Management system (ERM) and performing audits across our client’s world-wide operations. (60% travel)

This also involves special investigations and / or other management relevant projects.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities can be summarised as comprising the following broad areas:

• Implementing ERM world-wide
• Performing operational audits/reviews world-wide
• Understanding of operational, financial, local and business considerations
• Identification of relevant risks and controls
• Advising on improvements of operations in terms of minimising risks, efficiency and effectiveness.

The ideal candidate should be Big 4 trained with a thorough understanding of internal audit and risk management processes and ideally the CIA or CA qualification. They should be internationally mobile with a willingness to further their knowledge within Internal Audit with potential of moving into the business after 3 years.
