    Inside Sales Account Manager

    Job description

    Key Responsibilities

    As well as maintaining existing relationships with customers, the scope of the role will also include developing relationships with new clients. You will be working with other Dell functions including Sales Operations, Customer Care, Marketing, Finance and Logistics to deliver a exceptional customer experience. You will:

    • Be responsible for a small number of large accounts in our Large Enterprise segment. These are complex accounts that are highly strategic to the segment
    • Achieve targets by selling, up-selling and cross-selling our technology solutions using consultative selling techniques to create positive results for Dell EMC and our customers
    • Focus on solutions that significantly impact customer key business metrics, provide strategic insight to our customers and manage long and complex sales cycles
    • Maintain good business relationships with customers and understand their requirements
    • Work closely with outside sales representatives and channel partners (where applicable) to identify new opportunities

    Essential Requirements

    • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
    • At least two years’ experience in ICT selling to end-user customers or distributors
    • Demonstrable account and channel management experience
    • Ability to act as a sales consultant to support customer and distributor needs
    • Solutions and product knowledge in Servers, Storage, Converged/Hyper-converged, and Networking

    Desirable Requirements

    • Time management skills to meet multiple demands in a complex and changing environment
    • Experience in a cross-functional team or multi-cultural environment
    • Some exposure in to an outside sales environment
