Events Internship Opportunity at Raizcorp 2017

Job Description

We have an events internship available for a national entrepreneurial workshop and competition programme.  Sandton based with national travel over weekends.

Start Date   :  14 August 2017
End Date :  6 December 2017

Requirements:

• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• High energy and very outgoing
• Adaptable and flexible
• Able to take initiative
• Team player
• Willing to travel over weekends for 3 months
• Must be able to get to and from OR Tambo airport

General:

• Working hours will be 09:00am to 4:00pm (although can be flexible if still attending class) – however, travel weekends are from Thursday to Sunday with long working hours and these are non-negotiable
• They will get Mondays off after each travel weekend
• 2 x guys and 2 x girls needed

Responsibilities (main but not limited to):

• Telephonic RSVP management
• Store room and stock control
• Event stock prep
• Event set up
• After event packing up
• Data capture
• Contestant briefing assistance
• Handling of microphones at the event
• Must be prepared to get on stage at each event and do the “after lunch wake up dance
