    Datacenter Sales Specialist

    Key Responsibilities

    • Your objective will be to drive growth across a portfolio of development or acquisitionaccounts within SADC to achieve targets. You will be expected to build strongcustomer relationships within the SADC region and keep abreast of market trendsto develop and execute strategies that deliver high value solution focusedsales. The role will involve:
    • Focuson the top SADC partners and accounts to drive profitable growth within theaccounts while developing strategic plans to enable future growth of thisspecific account list
    • Prepare detailedproduct specifications for the purpose of selling high end Compute andNetworking products and solutions
    • Leading SADC account management,including account planning and sales forecasting and engaging cross-functionalresources
    • Advising customers/partners onstrategic business and technology solutions
    • Workingwith the account teams to ensure alignment across the organizations
    • Providing salesleadership and experience on large, complex sales opportunities

    Essentialrequirements

    • Proven sales track record ofsuccess within SADC
    • Extensive experience of selling datacentresolutions into SADC partners
    • Advanced knowledgeof Servers and related solutions to aid in technical environment designs beingthe subject matter expert in one or more workloads (SAP HANA, Oracle, HPC, SDS,SDN, VDI, HCI and Hybrid Cloud environments)
    • Ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CXO/partnerleadership to position solutions that will positively impact the Customer’sbusiness
    • Deep expertise of market trendsthat impact on Dell’s SADC customers
    • Effective presentation, negotiationand executive relationship-building skills
    • Fluency in English
