    HR Officer

    Job description

    Set up a pipeline of qualified prospects for the creation of proposals that eventually leads to service contracts:

    • Generate and pursue sales leads
    • Qualify leads and prospects in order to ascertain the relevance of their need to our service offering.
    • Set appointments for site visits to do waste management audits.

    Prepare proposals for the prospective clients including costing and operational plans:

    • Visit prospective clients
    • Do site visits/ audits.
    • Create proposals that specifically address their needs.
    • Remain competitive in the service offering.

    Present proposals to prospective clients and negotiate contracts with them

    • Present the proposals to the prospective clients in the shortest time possible in order to achieve the highest chance of a client making a positive decision regarding our serviceoffering.
    • Ensure that the proposal is explained in detail to the prospective client as soon as  possible after delivery of the proposal (whether by hand or via e-mail). It is preferred that  proposals are delivered by hand and explained while delivery takes place. This is not  always possible and it might be more efficient at times to email the proposal to the  prospective client.
    • Follow up with prospective clients after the proposal has been delivered and explain in detail what the service offering is and clearly explain what the benefit is to the client.
    • Build relationships with key prospective clients to enhance future business prospects

    Sales and other reports:

    • Maintain records of sales activities – sales, prospecting, presentations, closed sales and follow up activities.
    • Actively explore more business opportunities for the Company to offer as extension of its current service offering
