Field Service Technician at Atlas Copco

Job Description

• To perform Field Service work, including scheduled services and breakdown repairs, on Atlas Copco ADS equipment
• Fault find, perform root cause analysis and rectify issue
• To market and promote Field Service work and other Aftermarket services and products to customers to support business growth of the Aftermarket Department
• To assist with sub-assembly repairs and machine rebuilds in the Workshops when required
• Write reports of cause of faults and develop preventative measure
• To assist at Service Contracts with machine services and breakdown repairs when required
• To take responsibility for the safe storage and maintenance of the company’s vehicles and equipment in your care
• Work well in a team to drive a successful output the meets customer requirement

Experience Requirements

• Technical knowledge of Atlas Copco product
• Experience in Customer Service and good interpersonal skills
• Good planning and organisational skills
• Ability to work unsupervised at set standards
• Willingness to travel as and when required in the performance of your duties and training
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willing to rotate shifts and work standby with team members

Educational Requirements

Grade 12 with suitable trade qualification Technical Qualification, N4 and/orN5 and/or N6
