    Business Consultant

    Job description

    Key Purpose

    Marketing and sales of Discovery healthcare products through identifying opportunities and building relationships with brokers and employers.

    Key outputs

    • Identify and source new leads and new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets monthly and grow broker’s business.
    • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
    • Analyse and understand the client's business needs and recommend value-add solutions.
    • Build relationships through constantly communicating with & educating clients on the benefits of Discovery as a preferred service provider.
    • Strategic Relationship Management
    • Consistently deliver according to value-add proposition agreed upon with client. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
    • Keep up to date with industry trends and keep brokers informed on new and relevant information.
    • Provide service & support to clients on any operational aspects related to the sales process.
    • The role may also involve mentoring and developing Marketing Associates

    Qualification and Experience

    Essential

    • 2-3 Years within the Financial Services Industry
    • 2-3 Years Commission target based sales experience
    • Business related degree diploma (essential)
    • Industry related NQF 5 - 120 credits (essential)
    • Written and passed RE Exams Essential
    • Industry related NQF
