    Business Development Manager: Renewables (MS office / WindPro / WASP / Sales executive / Solar)

    Job Description:

    Our client is offing an opportunity for a Business Development Manager with experience in Sub-Saharan Africa involving technical projects.  This individual should have proven Business Development track record of utility scale solar/wind farm projects in extremely challenging environments. Versatility is required across multiple countries and environments within Sub-Saharan Africa as an International Sales and Marketing Manager with unique negotiation and networking skills.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • New business development and Revenue growth within Wind, PV and CSP;
    • Build and manage relationships within Wind, PV and CSP industry;
    • Build and grow client database;
    • Ensure brand and reputation are upheld at all times;
    • Keep abreast of industry information as it relates to the service or the industry itself;
    • Customer focus

    Requirements:

    • Relevant tertiary qualification;
    • Appropriate business development / sales experience;
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Wind, PV or CSP industry, preferably in project development;
    • In case of project development Wind, knowledge of WASP and WindPro Software;
    • Proficient in MS Office packages;
    • Good interpersonal, communication and enterprising skills;
    • Goal-directed behavior;
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure;
    • A willingness to travel.

    HR Manager (Unions / Mining / Payroll / Employee Wellness / Recruitment / Human Resources)

    Job Description:

    Are you an experienced HR Manager from a background in the mining industry in unionised environments, payroll, recruitment and employee wellness?
    This could be the opportunity for you!
    Our client is seeking an experienced individual to join their team in Gauteng.
     
    Responsibilities:

    • Overseeing the total Human Resources function including recruitment, learning and development, organisational development, performance management, workforce planning, employee wellness, finance, risk, compliance and payroll.
    • Facilitate and drive optimisation, attraction, retention and development of employees.
    • Create a conducive working environment through developing and maintaining best practices to enhance employee relations.
    • Ensure legislative compliance.
    • Liaising with unions.

    Requirements: Qualification and Skill

    • B.Comm Degree in Human Resources essential, with Honours being advantageous.
    • 10 years’ experience in operational HR, with 7 years at management level.
    • 5 years previous experience in the mining industry or for a supplier or services provider to the industry (or similar environment).
    • Experience in unionised environments.
    • This position is only open to South African citizens currently residing in South Africa.
    • HDSA candidates are encouraged to apply.

    Contractual information:

    • Residentially based; relocation will be required if not based in Gauteng.
    • Permanent contract.
