    Case Manager: Special Cases

    Job description

    Position purpose:

    As a member of the GEMS MHRS Team, to manage the clinical evaluation process of ex gratia applications for submission to the GEMS MHRS medical advisor and participate in related projects for GEMS members.

    Position Specific Outputs:

    • Review/preparation of urgent cases and follow up with members post reviews
    • PMB validations
    • Review of hospital write off queries
    • Assisting with preparation for the Ex Gratia meeting
    • Actioning of tasks as stipulated by the Ex Gratia committee
    • Preparation of ex gratia applications prior to medical advisor review structures

    Experience:

    • At least 3 years experience in the relevant industries
    • Managed healthcare experience will be advantageous

    Qualifications:

    Allied health services qualification
