Job description

Reporting to: Depot Manager

Purpose of the job: To ensure roadworthiness and cleanliness of trucks and that deliveries are made on time

Responsibilities:

• Fleet Management
• Fleet Audits
• Technical support / Troubleshooting
• On the job training
• Budget preparation, monitoring and variance reporting
• Expense Tracking
• Compiling of all required reports within set deadlines
• Managing staff
• Service Plans / COF/ Licensing

Qualifications:

• Matric
• Qualified Diesel Mechanic or equivalent
• Experience:
• 3 years more managerial experience
• Qualified Technician with previous fleet workshop management experience
• Experience in Operational FMCG Industry – added advantage
