    Bakery Manager

    Job description

    Location: Premier Bakery Vereeniging

    Reporting to: Managing Executive: Bakeries

    Purpose of the job:

    To oversee the co-ordination of all the functions on site, ranging from Production to Distribution and Sales, and including staff management and customer liaison. Take control of the implementation and communication of strategy at site level. Manage all teams on site according to The Premier Way.

    • Cost Control, Budget management.

    Requirements / Experience:

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 – 5 years bakery management experience
    • Computer literacy
    • Analytical ability
    • Post matric qualification (relevant)
    • SACB Certificate (advantageous)
    • Competencies (Knowledge, skills and abilities):
    • Expert knowledge in milling/baking management
    • Industry (FMCG & Production environment - production and distribution)
    • Quality management principles
    • Strategy development and communication
