Based in the Berwick area, this public practice accounting firm is renowned for providing best practice services in accounting, tax and business advisory. We are interested in speaking with suitably qualified Accountants who are seeking new opportunities where professional growth is on offer. This is an ideal role for a skilled and capable Accountant. The Berwick location is ideal if you are living in the South Eastern Suburbs and seeking to reduce your daily travel time potentially working closer to home. You will report to the Business Services Manager. About the role: Build strong mutually beneficial relationships with clients by understanding their business needs Proactively review and analyse the client's business to create the most effective business structures Provide value added opportunities for clients Respond to requests from individual clients regarding tax and accounting implications Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients About you: Great interpersonal skills and able to build strong relationships Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Proactive approach to problem solving and decision making Personal commitment to continuous improvement and best practice standards Minimum of Bachelor Business/Commerce Degree with a major in Accounting, Finance and/or Economics Current CA or CPA Minimum of 5 years experience in a public practice MYOB AE/AO experience is a bonus Salary is dependant on the your capabilities and experience.
