Key Performance Outputs

The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager Civil Maintenance and will be responsible for the following functions:

• Ensuring that maintenance contracts are aligned to ACSA’s requirements
• Ensuring continuous improvement to various infrastructure
• Ensuring ACSA’s maintenance contracts are in place.
• Managing overall governance and providing input into contract specifications.
• Ensuring effective and compliant contract management
• Forecasting and reviewing cash flow monthly.
• Compiling, managing of account for relevant budgets according to business requirements.
• Managing stock levels according to minimum quantities.
• Performing quality inspection on maintenance work done.
• Managing maintenance CAPEX projects in line with set standards.
• Providing relevant and specialised technical support in area of expertise.
• Planning, scheduling and supervising subordinate activities.
• Compiling reports on infrastructure and maintenance key performance indicators.

Technical Skills and Experience

• Engineering/BSc Civil Engineering degree is essential
• 6 year’s operational experience in engineering / building environment is required
• Intermediate MS Office.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and project management.
• Sound understanding of engineering principles and contract management.

The ideal candidate will portray strong planning skills and communication skills with the ability to communicate in a non-confrontational and polite manner. It is essential that the successful candidate can solve challenging problems, manage negotiations and consistently achieve results.
