Excellent opportunity for Graduate (BComm LLB or similar) with more than five years experience as an IR Manager or Labour Specialist. Fluent in Xulu essential. The role will require an excellent Negotiator who is diplomatic and has an advanced knowledge of SA Labour Laws.

Your extensive experience at CCMA and leading Union Negotiations are essential in this role.

Principle Accountabilities include

• Handles grievances, arbitrations, dispute resolution, communications, contract negotiations and other legal matters and seeks advice, when necessary, from the appropriate resources.
• Track and monitor grievances as well as developing effective strategies to reduce reported grievances and disputes.
• Collaborate with unions to resolve issues and address concerns
• Research and/or prepare the affiliate’s response to Union requests for information
• Establish effective working relationships with management, employees and union representatives throughout the organization.
• Lead and coordinate union management meetings and development of agenda. + Build and manage strong relationships with leaders throughout the organization. + Conduct thorough investigations of grievances and other employee issues and contract compliance. Ensure consistency for all disciplinary actions.
