    Marketing Manager

    Job description

    To proactively partner with the business to activate business channel priorities – both internally and externally through effective Marketing Management. Provide strategic direction in line with business strategy and sales goals.

    Qualification:

    • Marketing Degree
    • Post Graduate qualification advantageous

    Skills & Experience:

    • 6-8 years relevant Marketing Management experience, preferably in an advertising environment
    • Strong analytical and project management skills
    • Must have experience in managing a marketing brand plan as well as a marketing a budget
    • A very good understanding of digital journeys and an understanding of how to interpret the digital customer experience

    Job Description:

    • Act as the brand custodian with full accountability for providing the overall strategic direction, management and execution of marketing strategies and plans.
    • Aid in the commissioning of market research to inform, test and benchmark marketing activities, monitor competitive activity, and prepare segmentation and positioning strategies.
    • Brand custodianship and Strategic Marketing:
    • Control and develop strategies for the successful marketing and promotion of the Company, maximizing the potential and enhancing the reputation of the Company within its relevant market segments.
    • Market Research and Environmental Analysis:
    • Conduct environmental scanning identifying competitors, strategies, product offerings and analysis thereof resulting in comprehensive competitor files, thus developing and maintaining expert product knowledge as well as an awareness of competitor products strengths and weaknesses.
    • Track and measure the return on investment and success of implemented marketing programmes and adjust as necessary to continue improvement.
