    Job description

    Are you excited by the opportunity to develop a company’s technological backbonefrom the ground up? If so, we can’t wait to hear from you. Our company needs a Head of

    Technology who can provide technical leadership for the rest of the company.

    The ideal applicant will have an organized and creative mindset that drives him or her to find innovative solutions to common problems.

    As the Head of Technology you will be responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and driving all aspects of technology development, according to its strategic direction and growth objectives.

    You will oversee all technology services, product analysis, and system architecture activities. In addition, this role is responsible for owning rapid development processes, and managing the development team in its development of the

    Company’s products and operational requirements.

    The Head of Technology is required to remain innovative in design and stay abreast of all industry hot topics. This requires envisioning the company’s service offerings as an e-enablement business, leading implementation of web applications, and planning for risk and growth.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Represent the technological agenda in Management Committee meetings
    • Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments
    • Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each
    • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
    • Lead strategic planning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritising
    • operational development initiatives and setting timetables for the evaluation,
    • development, and deployment of all technology services;
    • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity
    • Spearhead IT projects to increase our market reach and improve our Unique
    • Selling Proposition (USP)
    • Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture
    • Establishing governance processes of direction and control to ensure that objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately and the company’s resources are used responsibly;
