    Chapter Manager - YPO

    Job description

    The Chapter Manager acts as an Operations Manager for the local Chapter. Key to the role is administrative and event management support to the chapter’s executive committee, whilst overseeing the day to day modus operandi of the chapter. The Chapter Manager assist the chapter executive committee in everything from recruitment and membership activities to delivering world class learning and networking events. They are the intellectual property of the chapter and key liaison for members.

    The role requires one to constantly multitask, juggling a broad array of tasks and supporting multiple personalities, at times outside of normal business hours. A perk of the position is that it is a home-based office - no more traffic! You also get to engage and interact with an array of interesting people and work alongside some of the region’s most successful business leaders.

    The Chapter Manager also serves as a key conduit between the local chapter and the global organization, ensuring governance compliance and maintaining chapter health standards. It is a unique position and requires a solid, multi-talented, orderly individual who is confident, professional, well presented and able to articulate themselves well in both written and verbal communication.

    Basic High Responsibilities

    • Manage daily operations; administration and finance
    • Support Executive Committee and strategic goals for their portfolio
    • Co-ordinate and execute all events for the chapter
    • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and integration of new members
    • Manage chapter communication platforms
    • Finance; budget management etc.

    Qualifications

    • Event or Project Management skills preferable
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
    • Working knowledge of CVent and SalesForce a plus
    • Social media capabilities a plus
