    Senior Administrator

    Job description

    Job Purpose:

    The Senior Administrator provides administrative, office and travel support to a designated team and manager ensuring that the business operations run smoothly and are efficient, adding maximum value to the organisation .S/he ensures all administrative processes, standards and templates are administered and carried out in accordance with company policy and guidelines.

    Key measurable outputs of this position include:

    • Administrative Team Support
    • Event/Meeting and Training Support
    • Assistance with Office Coordination
    • Diary scheduling
    • Travel arrangements
    • Senior General Management Support

    Qualifications and Experience Required:

    • Grade 12 and Certification in Office Administration
    • Tertiary Qualification in Business / Office administration or Secretarial Diploma preferred

    Technical Knowledge and Skills Required:

    General (pre-requisite)

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience providing administrative support to a medium to large sized team
    • 3 years’ experience in reception and front of office administration
    • 3 years’ experience with various office communication systems
    • 2 years’ experience in occupational health and safety.
    • Organisation (orientation/probation)
    • Sound understanding of BRHC’s values, mission and culture philosophy
    • Express and implied ethical responsibilities
    • Sound understanding of the company structure and where to source information
    • High level understanding of the administrative processes, business policies and guidelines.
    • Solid understanding of BRHC divisional structures and stakeholders

    Role (foundational knowledge)

    In-depth knowledge of administrative processes, policies and SOP`s.

    Changing knowledge requirements

    • Donor/Funder regulations that impact the business environment (including compliance related training requirements)
    • BRHC policies and procedures
