Basic Qualifications

• University degree with 8+ years experience in commercial management
• Experience at a leadership level with managing a diverse group of people and P&L accountability

• Experience of operating in a multinational company environment.

Job Purpose

Responsible for developing and delivering the transformation strategy for GSK South Africa and GSK Consumer Healthcare, and driving the implementation of the policies across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Present concise BBBEE actions and agenda to the SEC, Board and internal stakeholders. Present changes where necessary.
• Drive compliance and ensure that BBBEE scorecard is prepared based on requirements; monitor & update records that relate to the BBBEE requirements to ensure actions are executed.
• Work within policies and procedures and in compliance with all BBBEE legislation and internal policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with major stakeholders to provide expertise and direction in line with transformation and implementation guidelines.
• Ensure accurate records of the supporting evidence are maintained by various functions eg procurement, HR, commercial teams as required to demonstrate actions around the business BBBEE activities e.g. list of all businesses that are engaged in the year, BEE status, ownership status, spend and type of contributions made.
• Monitor changes and the effect of these changes within the Transformation industry; adjust strategy and execution plans as they arise.
• Review all relevant policies & SOPs to ensure alignment to current BBBEE Codes
• Build awareness with in-house stakeholders on changes that might occur within regulations.
• In collaboration with the Communications team, implement a transformation story that delivers the transformation agenda.
• Champion the corporate image across the various pillars of the BBBEE platform as it applies to GSK.
