    Finance Assistant

    • We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance/Legal Assistant to support our conveyancing team with financial and administrative tasks. The successful candidate will assist in preparing Statements of Account, loading and processing payments in AJS and invoicing.

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Matric certificate.
    • Legal secretary / BCOM accounting qualification or equivalent advantageous.
    • Experience preparing and managing Statements of Account for conveyancing transactions.
    • Familiarity with legal case management and accounting systems (e.g. E4 and AJS or similar accounting software).
    • High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Prepare and balance Statements of Account in E4 for residential and commercial property transactions.
    • Input payments in AJS to multiple stakeholders ensuring all transactions are accurate and authorised in line with firm policy.
    • Invoicing fees in AJS
    • Monitor and reconcile client ledgers, highlight discrepancies, and resolve financial queries efficiently.
    • Support the finance and legal teams with administrative tasks including document preparation, client communication, and general case progression support.

    Bookkeeper (Rentals)

    • You’ll be responsible for daily transactions, account reconciliations, and making sure our financial records are always in top shape. If you have a knack for numbers and take pride in keeping things accurate and organised, we’d love to meet with you.

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in financial administration, accounting or property management.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Manage monthly payments of residential properties.
    • Attend to all rental assist payments for your allocated developments.
    • Obtain monthly rates accounts and load onto PayProp for payments.
    • Obtain monthly levy accounts and load onto PayProp for payments.
    • Obtain all water, refuse, sewerage accounts and invoice the tenants.
    • Load all maintenance invoice on PayProp.
    • Invoice any tenant penalties issued by the Body Corporate.
    • Determine what accounts are being paid for the landlord, have those accounts redirected to IGrow and ensure the correct amount are paid every month.
    • Send monthly statements to Landlord.
    • Send monthly statements and invoices to tenants.
    • Attend to monthly reconciliation of rental payments on allocated portfolio.
    • Attend to the monthly account payments for Investor.
    • Attend to and finalize all deposit refunds
    • Deal with all client queries relating to the tenant and/or investor account.
    • Attend to deposit refund payments within 14 days.
    • Load deposit processing fee on deposit refunds.
    • Attend to problems with water and electricity accounts.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Consult with Agents daily whether one-on-one or telephonically, for the purpose of obtaining financial information to do affordability assessment or to process bond applications.
    • Thoroughly complete application forms, capture and submit applications to specified financial institutions through DealMaker system.
    • Daily follow up with banks on all submitted applications.
    • Provide regular feedback to clients.
    • Motivate decline applications, do rate appeals with banks to ensure that best possible outcome is received. High conversion ratio will be expected.
    • Ensure that sale agreements are signed correctly within the specified time
    • Ensure that applications granted are taken to “done deals” (balance purchase price paid if needed) within the specified time.
    • Assist with the updating of spreadsheets.
    • Assist clients in navigating the home loan process, from application to approval.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and real estate professionals.
    • Leverage your existing client book to secure new opportunities and grow your bond origination portfolio.
    • Provide expert advice on property finance solutions tailored to individual client needs.
    • Negotiate favourable terms and ensure seamless loan approvals for clients.
    • Stay up-to-date with property finance trends and lending regulations.
    • Ad-hoc bonds and administration duties as requested from time to time.

    Conversion Specialist

    • Seeking a detail-driven Conversion Specialist to support Bond Consultants in processing high-volume home loan applications, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with bank criteria.  

    To qualify for this position, you need:

    • Matric 
    • Minimum 5 to 6 years experience in similar position.
    • Experience working on Dealmaker system.
    • Attention to detail and knowledge on bank criteria. pertaining to bond applications.

    Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

    • Capturing of bond applications.
    • Checking of document submissions to the banks.
    • Daily follow ups with the banks on submitted applications.
    • Motivating declined applications.
    • Interest rate appeals.
    • Ensuring that applications are instructed to correct attorneys.
    • Updating of In-house systems.
    • Ensuring that details on approvals are correct.
    • Assisting with development letters at various banks.
