Retail Marketing Project Manager at Sygnia Asset Management

ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an energetic, passionate and exceptional individual to join our Retail Marketing team. The ideal candidate is one who has the ability to implement the retail marketing plan in support of and in line with the brand/company strategy and objectives.

DUTIES AND DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct and manage the retail marketing team’s performance (KPIs) and enable their development plans to ensure that both personal and business objectives are being met
• Drive Sygnia values and promote a positive team culture
• Manage all internal and external relationships
• Conduct competitor research - monitor ATL advertising in order for Global Marketing Consultant to strategically define the Sygnia value proposition and align the brand positioning to ensure market relevance
• Analyse the Sygnia product cycle
• Monitor and implement content for Sygnia social media pages as well as the Sygnia website
• Monitor the digital client interface with the brand – i.e. monitor and respond to consumer queries/comments/complaints within social media/digital realm
• Plan and liaise with media content providers to secure interviews with Sygnia media representatives
• Drive Public Relations for specific and strategic company objectives
• Liaise with media agency to cost and book ATL advertising
• Ensure all retail client and Financial Advisor documentation meets Sygnia brand and corporate guidelines
• Develop & monitor product collateral to meet brand guidelines
• Manage the monthly/daily updates for all retail clients and Financial Advisor collateral
• Execute Post Campaign Reports to determine ROI for ATL campaigns
• Manage the launch of new retail products to retail clients and Financial Advisors:
• Manage the update of the News & Insights page on the Sygnia website

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing
• At least 6 years’ experience in a marketing and communications environment
• Previous experience in a similar leadership role

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Leadership skills and management experience with a proven track record of delivery
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a multi-functional team
• In-depth knowledge of marketing principles and practical skills in this field
• Thorough knowledge of the advertising and media industry: above-the-line and below-the-line media platforms, Public Relations and digital marketing
