    Budget & Reporting Manager

    Budget and Planning

    • You will c ompile annual budget (for South Africa and Southern Africa countries), verify and check consistency of the information captured in the Budget Pack.
    • You will manage the relationship and contract with the budgeting tool service provider, consolidate the budget, maintain financial models that portray the assumptions provided by Management.
    • You need to have the understanding and ability to analyse the evolution from prior year/s to ER and Budget, using this as a basis for challenging and correcting the ER and Budget figures in liaison with the businesses
    • P lan and elaborate Long Term Plan with Strategy department to review output of Strategy dept (qualitative grid) and ensure consistency with Financial Grid.
    • P repare and compile management reports for Budget and Long Term Plan presentations (Mancom, Head Office, Board,)
    • E nsure that Budget and LTP information is consistent is all reporting tools: Budcom, SAP Harmonie , Paris Budget or LTP grids, board pack

    Balance Sheet

    • You will ensure accurate investments process in Optima: control of PRs, nodes created at Budget levels in Harmonie,
    • Communicate with Business regularly and remind them Group guidelines on investments to ensure it is followed.
    • Provide meaningful and accurate monthly reports for Working Capital Requirement and Investments.
    • Calculate depreciation whenever applicable for Budget, LTP,
    • Maintain and calculate ROACE for any reporting requirements. (Budget, monthly Mancom KPIs, NBE board slides etc.)
    • Custodian of the Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions on OGMA Group Tool

    Financial Modelling

    • You will participate in the CX1 profitability analysis with Business Analyst, and act as their back up.

    People Management

    • You will be required to manage, develop, and appraise the team.

    HSEQ

    • You are required to provide reliable and timely information to the management.
    • To control, enforce and challenge business rules to increase efficiency and profitability

    Low profitability culture across the organization, resulting in poor variance analysis in the different business
    Profil recherché

    • You have a B Com degree or B Com Honours or CIMA qualification and at least 5 to 7 years related business experience.
    • The team will appreciate your rigor, diligence and ability to manage in a complex, multidisciplinary finance environment.
    • Your in-depth understanding of the industry will be an added advantage.
    • MS Office (Advanced Excel and database skills ) and Financial modelling ability are strong success factors
