Grade 10 or equivalent and the candidate must be able to read and write. Be prepared to wok under pressure and work shifts (day and night including public holidays). Candidate must be able to rotate when required, be honest, reliable and be able to work in a team.
Have knowledge of health and care waste management. Skills: Basic numeracy, literacy, good communication skills, sound human relation ability when performing tasks. Have ability to liase with other stakeholders.
Duties :
Clean bathrooms, showers, toilets, wards or departments, passages and waiting areas. Dust, wash, scrub and polish floors, walls, windows, stairs, fire escapes, side walls and other areas as requested by the supervisor.
Clean equipments, wash dust bins, remove waste including medical waste and adhere to Health Care Management Policy. Operate cleaning heavy duty machines. Be prepared to rotate within the scope of work. Cleaning ward kitchen as per infection prevention and control.
