    Client Service Advisor - Professional Risk

    About the Role 
    As a Client Service Advisor some of your key responsibilities will include: 

    • Working with New Business Development Executive to generate and co-ordinate internal new business leads to enable the cross-selling strategy
    • Helping retain existing clients by providing accurate and timely administration and support across account(s)
    • Working with Client Managers to ensure high quality, efficient and compliant delivery of all client servicing , administrative/transactional activities
    • Being responsible for day to day delivery of service to clients 
    • Being responsible for the renewal process, including renewal of policies, creating claims statistics and filing
    • Ensuring proposal forms are sent to the client
    • Preparing renewal terms and quotes
    • Ensuring policies are loaded on E-global, Client details are updated and tax invoices are raised accurately and efficiently
    • Being responsible for broking less complex endorsements within the SPS
    • Actively increasing technical knowledge, understanding of client needs and the broking process
    • Preparing insurance certificates and sending them to Client Manager(s)/ Principal Broker for approval and issuing insurers formal policy documentation to the clients
    • Communicating with insurers on any discounts and following up on requests from clients
    • Being responsible for the cancellation process, where clients don’t renew policies and notifying client of cancellation
    • Liaising with the outsource supplier to pass on appropriate work and ensuring standards are met (where outsource partner exists)
    • Contributing to all client planning meetings and attending and contributing to internal and external client meetings  
    • Working with New Business Development Executive to generate and co-ordinate internal new business leads to enable the cross-selling strategy

     

    Minimum Requirements  

    • A minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Must have RE for representatives 
    • A Bachelor’s degree is preferable 
    • Must be registered as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS Act 
    • Have a minimum of 2 - 5 years’ experience in a similar or related role 
    • Have experience in Professional Indemnity and Fidelity Guarantee Insurance      
    • Very good knowledge of PI Policy wordings 
    • Very good knowledge of FG Policy wordings
