Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Construction Supervisor is responsible to manage and direct assigned project site activities in designated disciplines and resources to support successful project delivery.
The tasks you’ll perform:
Manage assigned project site teams in accordance with the company’s strategic plans and objectives; aligned to company, client, regulatory and contractual requirements
Ensure the proper utilisation of people, material, machinery and process to meet the client requirements within the timelines and budget
Ensure all site activities are conducted in a manner that prioritises health, safety, the environment and community and industrial relations
Lead, Manager and Support assigned teams to ensure optimal performance
Foster and Maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Colleagues and Contractors
The expertise you’ll bring:
Tertiary Qualification in Construction Management, or equivalent relevant industry experience
5+ years’ experience in Construction Management in minerals processing and related industries
South African Citizen or Permanent Resident
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
Solid technical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision whilst consistently producing a high quality of deliverables.
Demonstrated ability to achieve consistently high standards within both budgetary and schedule constraints.
