    Maintenance Fitter

    Qualifications & Knowledge

    • Grade 12 and/or a recognised Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal) as a Fitter.
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment, preferably in beauty, FMCG, or related industries.
    • Previous exposure to packing and filling equipment will be advantageous.
    • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct production line changeovers with minimal disruption.
    • Perform machine repairs, preventative maintenance, and minor adjustments.
    • Support building maintenance and assist semi-skilled artisans with equipment repairs.
    • Operate and monitor essential services (compressors, chillers) daily.
    • Complete planned maintenance job cards, checklists, and defect reporting.
