As Expediting Specialist, you will be responsible for on time delivery that supports the full scope of purchase order and procurement processes by providing the best conditions in terms of quality, price, delivery terms, and sustainability in accordance with guidelines and all in compliance with group regulations and procedures.
You will be part of the Mining Service Procurement Team for EMEA and be predominatly responsible for European suppliers while based in Bucharest, Romania.

Your responsibilities
To ensure on time delivery as per Purchase Orders/Contracts.
To ensure all Supplier’s forecast are realistic as per progress report, this includes physical visits to suppliers to verify the progress against commitments.
Co-ordination with Vendor/Engineering/Quality Control/Originator.
Follow up on vendors for manufacturing schedule/Quality Control Plan
Update in our Project Management System & circulate the Purchase Orders wise status report in regular frequency.
Ensures timely escalation if there is a delay at any stage of operation in Post Order activities.
Inspection report / document from vendor and working with Quality Control for inspection clearance.
Coordinating for packing list for shipping clearance.
Improves on time delivery by creating a good networking and influencing with suppliers and other stakeholders.
To ensure Suppliers payments as per Purchase Orders.
What you bring
Minimum 5 Years of experience as an Expeditor.
Demonstrated knowledge of handling suppliers and how to improve them in terms of faster delivery and quality standards.
Ability to work in a team or individually on multiple concurrent projects with cross function teams across various regions while maintaining high attention to detail.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good organization, multitasking and time management skills that delivers effective planning.
Experience in building and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
ERP system experience and ability to use MS Office suite.
Experienced in a product supply / production driven environment in industrial/engineering field with knowledge of manufacturing processes and technical specifications.
