Preparation of the bookkeeping for Alternative Investment funds, management companies and associated SPVs, processing of journals/transactions in the fund accounting system
Preparation of all reporting aspects of client deliverables, including the preparation of trial balances, Management accounts, investor reports, statutory financial statements, tax letters and ad hoc investor requests
Addressing and completing of audit queries
Prepare periodic bank and other reconciliations
Managing and controlling the AR/AP function
Preparation of Payments in the Banking platform
Preparation of responses for more complex client queries
Build, maintain and enhance professional Business relationship with clients
Your Profile
Relevant degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance (Bachelor or Honours degree)
Between 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably for Alternative Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate, Private Debt)
Strong desire to undertake a professional qualification
Strong communication skills
Computer literacy skills are essential
Other characteristics: accurate, self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team, deadline driven and able to maintain a portfolio of clients
