    Head of Product - Playbook

    Who we are looking for

    We are looking for a strategic leader to be the Head of Product. You are the right person if you are unstoppable in your pursuit of combining the grand challenge of vision with execution, performance and maximum pursuit of quality.

    You will be a visionary, a team lead, and the greatest advocate of our product. The primary goal is to lead and facilitate the creation of products that deliver value to both our customers and our business. The right person for the position is not just an effective manager, but a product evangelist and visionary, capable of spotting trends and setting goals for years ahead. As the Head of Product you will work closely with the CEO of Playbook.

    Some of the things that you’ll do

    • Be part of the company leadership to develop the vision and strategy of Playbook
    • Oversee all of the company’s product related matters
    • Drive collaboration between different departments and levels in the company to ensure alignment on the value proposition of the product
    • Continuous customer research and product analysis
    • Balance the short term goals with the long term vision of the product
    • Use data to inform the decisions that you make
    • Drive discovery to continuously identify new opportunities to add value to users
    • Identify opportunities that lead to growth of the product through innovation while still maintaining fundamental business goals/priorities
    • Determining product and operational issues and resolving them wherever possible
    • Leading the PM organization, supervising, and mentoring the product team
    • Define pricing and competitive positioning
    • Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action

    What you’ll need

    • 6+ years experience in building new products, preferably in the field of workflow automation, productivity solutions and data driven decision making tools
    • Good understanding of software development life-cycle models as well as knowledge of both agile and traditional product-management principles and practices, and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit the business environment
    • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the business need with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level
    • Customer-first, ABCD thinking mindset
    • Strategic and creative thinker with the ability to craft go-to-market strategies and campaigns in collaboration with marketing
    • Successfully implemented data-driven process to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap
    • People leader with demonstrated success in leading and mentoring the research, design, and development team
    • Proactive, self-starter with an ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
    • Ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment
    • A high degree of organization, individual initiative and personal accountability
    • Team player
    • Excellent time-management skills
    • Great interpersonal, troubleshooting and communication skills
    • You must be a world-class individual contributor to thrive at Playbook
