Inside Sales Rep - Parts at Konecranes

Job Purpose:
Promotes and sells the organization's products and services, developing repair and spare part offers, utilizing the organization's internal sales tools or systems .

Main Responsibiliies :

• There are many KPI’s this role can influence, some directly others not amongst others to achieve are:
• Sales Growth%
• Gross Margin%, (CMII)
• Response Rate,% (No. of customer enquiries being answered within 48 hours)
• Delivery Punctuality
• Sales Cases with decision dates in the past,%
• No. of Offers created/Month
• Net Working Capital %

• Responsible for spare part inquiry handling and offering for external and internal customers. Remain as basic point of contact for distribution channels; internal (through frontline services sales; branch network) & external customers directly, etc.
• Receives, processes and verifies all spare parts inquiries and provide customer with accuracy of offer by utilizing the organization's internal sales tools or system. Proactively engage customers with Konecranes’ full offering of service products.
• Create quotes using the intranet and parts manuals as trained. Assemble quotations, follow up with prospects, pursue and receive orders.
• Highly motivated to achieve booking targets. Responsible for executing growth action plans to achieve Konecranes sales targets and initiatives. Initiate contact with customers where their business with us has decreased, stopped, or not yet been initiated.
• Maintains daily activities in customer relationship management tools by tracking calls, emails, and interactions with customers. Follow up on all unclosed quotes with phone calls to the customer, record notes in the CRM with pertinent information to help close the sale, or gain an understanding as to what can be done differently if the sale was lost.
• Maintain customer record by updating account information, and responsible to support customers quotation
• Works closely with local branches to improve customer agreement retention, overall customer relationships, scope of services delivered, and overall profitability and efficiency.
• Receive the customers' feedback for products, close coordinate with relevant colleague to solve possible problem
• Part stock and price maintenance

Key Job Requirements:

Qualification/Education:

• Post-matric qualification (NQF level 5)

Skills & Knowledge:

• 2-3 years work experience in inside sales or spare parts environment
• Knowledge of customer service and inside sales principles preferred
• Knowledge of quoting process; pricing and margins
• Must be able to travel locally and outside SA for operational requirements
• Proficiency with MS Office applications e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience working with CRM or similar tools
