The Operations Department has a Temporary vacancy for 1 x Junior Assessor to be appointed on a fixed term contract in Montagu to independently conduct Cold Chain Inspections or Services according to standard protocols, work instructions and procedures as prescribed through PPECB‘s legislative mandate. The contract is to assist the area during the peak period of the Citrus season.
JOB DISCRIPTION:
Supervise container loading at various loading points
Temperature monitoring in cold stores
The minimum administrative tasks associated with job level
Communicate with various clients on own specific tasks and outcome of decisions
Build and maintain good relations with PPECB clients
Continuous self-improvement in their area of responsibility according to the PPECB performance framework
JOB REQUIREMENTS
A Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification
Experience in various cold chain functions, in particular container loading
Experience in various cold chain functions related to the specified geographical area would be advantageous
Computer Literate
Good verbal and written communication skills
The ability to work independently and / or with minimum supervision
Excellent customer service skills
A valid code 08 driving license and own reliable vehicle is a requirement for doing the job
