Midweight Copywriter at iKhokha

Job Description

So, what will you do?  

• You will play an outgoing creative who enjoys telling stories through both written and video formats, be comfortable conducting interviews and enjoy creative problem-solving, ideation and campaign building with teammates. You will need to take a vested interest in entrepreneurial pursuits to passionately communicate, motivate and inspire business owners from all walks of life to Believe in Better. 

In addition to the above, you will: 

• Creating compelling long and short form copy in accordance with the iKhokha brand tone across a variety of digital and traditional mediums. 
• Participate in brainstorms as part of the larger team to develop campaign concepts and Always On collateral.  
• Contribute to the creation and distribution of PR articles and other PR related materials. 
• Create well researched copy for a range of inbound marketing materials, including courses, ebooks, infographics and more. 
• Collaborating with other copywriters, designers and videographers to create on-brand content that engages and converts. 
• Delivering quality work timeously within deadlines
• Qualifications
• Copywriting degree or similar  

Deal breakers: 

• 2 - 4 years’ proven experience as a Copywriter 
• Content creation experience on social media 
• PR and long-from experience  
• Content and inbound marketing  
• Agency experience (preferable)

• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills 
• Excellent digital copywriting skills across social, web and SEO 
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms
