Process Technician CM Caps at ALPLA Group

WHAT YOU WILL ENJOY DOING

• Ensure all assigned machines are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, according to recommended operating guidelines
• Ensure quality product is being produced at all times
• Ensure process is optimized to the fullest extent
• Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being put into machine
• Monitor and report inconsistencies in above areas for all shifts not worked
• Should be able to make minor repairs
• Assist the Production Manager / Process Engineers in implementing required training for Machine Operators
• Supervise orderliness, cleanliness and working order of the assigned machines and tools
• Support production activities
• Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
• Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
• Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitates a tidy, neat Environment

WHAT MAKES YOU GREAT

• Technical Qualification with min. 2 years plastics processing experience
• Experienced in plastic technology and/or mechanic or electric/electronic systems
• Knowledge of and insight into operation of Compression moulding machines and its auxiliary equipment
• Knowledge of and experience in processing Compression moulding machines and its auxiliary equipment
• Knowledge of and experience in changeovers/set-up/maintaining of Compression moulding machines and its and its auxiliary equipment
• Able to work in a team environment
• Able to train technical personnel 
• Effectively manages time as a resource; gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities
• Must have flexible work availability
• Able to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision 
• Excellent communication skills in local language and English
