The purpose of the role is to give accurate reporting of production/management accounting information with a strong focus on costing. Analysing and reporting the daily, monthly results will be important in order to support and development of the Business Unit,training of Staff on inventory system and reports, chairing departmental stock flow meetings, stock take participation, assisting with GMP reports and material loss tracking and driving continuous improvement and accuracy of information.
Required Skills
Formal Accounting Qualification or equivalent
Must have 3 years financial experiences working in a FMCG environment
Develop partnership roles with Plant Manager/ Production Managers/Controllers/ Financial Manager
To have presentation skills
Must be a self-motivator with good planning, organising and admin skills
Able to work independently and must have strong interpersonal skills and analytical skills
Must be accurate and pay attention to detail
Must be a good communicator
Computer literate in MS Office (Excel advanced skills
Duties & Responsibilities
Analysing daily, monthly and yearly results of production
Monthly reporting and annual budgeting
Training of Staff on inventory system and reports
Chairing departmental stock flow meetings
Stock take participation
Assisting with GMP reports and material loss tracking
Driving continuous improvement and accuracy of information
Focus on accurate routings and costing of products within BPCS, updating BOM’s
Support Production Managers by providing information and assisting production clerks with any capturing/system problems
Financial & reporting tasks
Ensure that effective internal control procedures are in place on all financial functions or cycles (i.e. stock, assets and other)
Assist in supplying accurate information to optimise recipes
Support role for forecast
Weekly KPI Reports, understanding how department are tracking on KPI
