To independently execute and implement value adding & practical scientific solutions with minimal supervision in relevant functional and technology areas. To use understanding of business strategies, operations and broad fuels & production knowledge to proactively initiate technical projects that will add value to business.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:

• BSc chemistry or BSc honors chemistry and 2 years’ experience.
• ICP-MS and ICP-OES Analysis and troubleshooting

• Contextualize work according to BU & technical strategies and work on multiple projects with different priorities
• Independent planning and execution of research projects
• Assume accountability for implementation of project solutions
• Advise team and customers on fuel products, specifications, methods and fuel product applications
• Package & present value adding concepts/ projects as a potential business case to BU
• As a technical custodian, give technical guidance to junior scientists, verify scientific accuracy of results and interpretation of reports

• Keep abreast of technical developments in functional areas i.e. literature, patents, technology landscape
• Act as custodian in one or more fuels technical areas
• Expand own, and build other’s knowledge and understanding across technologies
