Ability to lead, develop and nurture networks amongst member states, RECs and development partners

Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration, Development Studies or related fields.
Candidate should have at least ten (10) years of progressively experience of which five (5) years should be at supervisory/managerial level within public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally, and/or continentally. Specifically the candidate should have experience in:
Strategic leadership, programme design, execution and strategic planning of development programmes, preferably in the health and/or social sector.
Coordinating and liaising with governments, RECs and development partners/ donor community.
Experience with public sector multilateral institutions or similar organization nationally, regionally and internationally.
Extensive experience in clearly communicating results, evidence and conducting strategic research through data systems and programmes.
Extensive experience in policy development.
Extensive experience in resource mobilisation, project management and strategic planning.
Managing relationships with key partners and stakeholders, network building and successful development of partnerships.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, Public Health, Public Policy, Social sciences, Business Administration, Development Studies or related fields.
Candidate should have at least twelve (12) years of progressively experience of which five (5) years should be at supervisory level within public sector institutions or similar organizations nationally, regionally, and/or continentally. Specifically the candidate should have experience in:
