Lead the development and implementation of the financial planning and budgeting framework.
Provide strategic financial analysis and insights for long-term planning and decision-making.
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
Ensure accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and data systems.
Oversee the monitoring of business performance against budgets and financial targets.
Identify and analyse key financial metrics to inform business strategy.
Collaborate with executives to align budgets with strategic objectives.
Present financial plans and forecasts to executive’s and other senior stakeholders
Conduct in-depth variance analysis and provide recommendations for cost control to the CFO.
Oversee the Support key strategic projects with financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Develop and refine performance metrics and KPIs across the organization for budget control.
Develop and Implement best practices in budgeting and financial planning processes.
Develop and lead initiatives to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
Develop and Provide training and guidance on budgeting and financial analysis to teams.
Attend to ad-hoc requests as required by Head Fp&A and The CFO

Mentor and Guide: Act as a mentor and coach to team members, providing guidance and support to help them navigate challenges, develop their analytical skills, and enhance their understanding of financial principles and practice
Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and strategic alignment
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE
BCom (Accounting Sciences)/CA(SA) /CIMA
Required computer literacy levels
Accpac/Sage (Advanced)
IBM Analytics
Excel and Power Point
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Finance and Commercial functions
Experience working in a medium to large organization
Planning, Reporting and Performance Management experience
3 years’ experience in managing teams
Experience in overseeing complex revenue (transactional and fixed fee construct advantageous)
Financial Services industry required
Payments industry knowledge and experience advantageous
Experience in presenting to executive members advantageous
