    SHEQ Coordinator - Plastics Manufacturing - Centurion

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform regular SHEQ audits and inspections on manufacturing processes.
    • Analyze and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses to implement corrective actions.
    • Develop and facilitate SHEQ training programs for employees.
    • Coordinate and lead health and safety meetings to promote a safe working environment.
    • Assist in the development and enhancement of SHEQ policies and procedures within the plant.
    • Create and maintain accurate documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.
    • Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to SHEQ matters.
    • Support the implementation of ISO standards relevant to the plastics manufacturing industry.
    • Engage and educate employees on environmental best practices pertinent to manufacturing operations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes affecting the plastics manufacturing industry.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
    • At least 3-5 years of experience in a SHEQ role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.
    • Strong understanding of relevant industrial SHEQ regulations and standards.
    • Experience with ISO 45001, 14001, and 9001 standards.
    • Proven track record of conducting safety training and audits.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to safety and compliance.
    • Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Willingness to stay updated with the latest industry trends and regulations.
