Stores assistant at Superior Rotorworx

Superior Rotorworx is looking for someone to fill a full-time position as a store’s assistant, Superior Rotorworx is based on Grand Central Airport in Midrand, Johannesburg.  Candidates must not stay more than 30Km from Grand Central Airport.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans and be able to read and write in both languages

2. Must have a valid driver’s license

3. Must be computer literate

4. Must have passed grade 12

Duties will be: 

1. Generate picking slips on the system and issuing of parts

2. Receiving parts and creating a GRV

3. Consumable management

4. Opening and closing of jobs

5. Follow company procedure, policies and standards

6. Ensure compliance with company policies, rules and regulations

7. Follow and comply to MOP requirements for record keeping, material handling and documentation requirements

8. Assist the relevant manager and take ownership where required

9. Maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities

10. Identify the need for stock replenishment

11. Generate purchase orders

12. Work cooperatively with peers and management to ensure personal and company targets are met

13. Perform stock takes

14. Carry out deliveries and collections when required

15. Carry out general admin duties EG, filing, document scanning, data capturing, etc
