    GSD Work Study Analyst

    The skills and experience that will make you a solid fit for this role:

    • A relevant qualification in Work Study, with a proven track record in operational breakdowns, line balancing and applying GSD standards.
    • A sound understanding of the sewing manufacturing industry.
    • Studying toward, or completed, a qualification in Industrial Engineering would be an added advantage.

    The practical, solutions-focused thinker best suited to this role will be required to:

    • Use GSD methodology to create accurate labour breakdowns for costing, aligned with the latest and most efficient manufacturing methods.
    • Ensure labour breakdowns take into account available machinery, current line setups and the skills in each factory.
    • Observe and audit factory lines to identify smarter ways of working, and provide optimal line balances that maximise efficiency across teams.
    • Maintain alignment between costed SMVs and actual SMVs for pre-production and bulk production, by style.
    • Analyse quality results and recommend improvements for smoother, more efficient production.

    Textile Technologist

    The precision- and practicality-obsessed Textile Technologist who joins our Product Development team will be required to:

    Source, evaluate and approve the best fabrics for new garments and updates on existing designs.
    Leverage your instincts for fabric performance to guide its application across multiple garments and ranges.
    Develop trim specifications and collaborate with suppliers to ensure samples comply with our exacting requirements.
    Test and analyse textiles and trims to ensure they meet our strict standards of strength and performance.
    Investigate and troubleshoot fabric-related issues during production, and propose actionable solutions.
    Develop, implement and conduct testing protocols that continually enhance fabric performance.
    Stay up to date on textile innovations and sustainability practices, and apply insights to enhance our ranges.
    Collaborate with Operations teams to source trims and textiles, negotiate lead times, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

    Credit Controller

    The main responsibilities of the role include:

    • Take great pride in ensuring accurate records of all financial activity.
    • Ensure accurate customer payments, efficient invoicing, and balancing of accounts.
    • Reconcile month-end claims and statements.
    • Process all new credit applications.
    • Ensure precise and accurate credit checks on new customers.
    • Monitor RMAs – return authorisations.
    • Review validity of POD’s on our transporters site.
    • Work closely with our Sales team to ensure that each of our customers receives the ultimate Jonsson Workwear customer experience.

    The experience we’re looking for:

    • Previous work experience as a credit controller.
    • Experience using Syspro ERP system preferable.
    • Computer Literate using MS Office.
    • Any previous administration or data capturing experience is advantageous.
