    Clerk Store Receiving - Witbank

    Job description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Provide administrative and physical support in terms of material movements within the mine store and yard areas
    • Receive, safely off-load and load materials
    • Correctly capture goods received documents on JD Edwards
    • GRN material / equipment received from suppliers
    • Update and maintain filing and archiving of GRN documentation
    • Assist with stock control and monthly cycle counts
    • Comply with binning, stacking and packing procedures
    • Comply with Health, Safety and Environment policy, standards and procedures
    • Maintain good housekeeping standards
    • Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

    Minimum requirements

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent with Mathematics
    • Certificate in Stores / Warehouse Management or similar
    • Exposure to JD Edwards or similar
    • MS Office Proficient [Word and Excel]
    • Valid B/ EB Driver’s License
    • Good English communication skills [Written and verbal]
    • Fit to physically move, load/ offload materials and equipment
    • Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
    • At least 1 year of inbound / outbound working experience in a stores environment
    • Experience processing goods received, logging onto a system and taking stock of materials

    Developer - Witbank

    Job description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Effective supervision of the mining crew to safely achieve production targets
    • Plan, schedule and control activities to ensure availability of resources, to meet daily targets
    • Effective management of materials, consumables and explosives
    • Participate in waiting place / pre-shift meetings and ensure parameters relating to quality, quantity, cost and safety are understood
    • Perform drilling, blasting, lashing, shaft lining and equipping in line with legal appointment
    • Team and self-understand to comply with M&RC’s policies, procedures, and safety standards
    • Effective stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth workflows
    • Risk identification and mitigation in compliance with DMR, M&RC and Client’s safety requirements
    • Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

    Minimum requirements

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent
    • Blasting Certificate (Fiery Mines)
    • Gas testing and Flame proofing Certificates [Essential]
    • Basic Rigging Certificate
    • Licence to Supervise or equivalent supervisory certificate
    • Valid First Aid Certificate
    • Planning and organising skills
    • Strata 2 (Essential, if not available, must obtain at on-boarding)
    • Police clearance for blasting

    • At least 5 years of experience in a trackless mechanised underground mining environment
    • Experience in application of wetcrete, installation of welded mesh and spin anchors
    • Experience leading and supervising an underground crew of operators

    Quality Controller - Delmas

    Job description

    The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

    • Effective supervision, planning and control of the daily tasks of the Quality Control Assistants
    • Understand the work cycles for effective planning and resource allocation
    • Analyse the project planner and draw up an inspection schedule for off-site equipment and acceptance inspections
    • Conduct thorough scheduled and ad-hoc audits, including reading and inspecting mining / engineering drawings to ensure conformance
    • Verify all activities are signed-off by relevant parties, ensure 100% adherence to quality requirements prior to sign-off
    • Verify no form is missing or incomplete, as this could result either in a re-do, or non-payment by the client
    • Accurate data books and acceptance of the data book by the client’s quality representative
    • Communicate non-conformance to relevant stakeholders timeously and follow up accordingly
    • Maintain effective document control, documentation pertaining to audits, inspections and non-conformance are filed and easily retrievable
    • Liaise with the Quality Assurance Coordinator/Manager to communicate findings and escalate issues of non-compliance
    • Keep a register of non-compliances raised during the duration of the project
    • Perform a monthly trend analysis on non-compliances to ensure there is no repetition thereof
    • Maintain sound relationships with relevant stakeholders, participate in meetings and be objective and appropriately firm where required
    • Performance manage, coach and train subordinates to ensure employee capacity building
    • Team and self-understand and comply with relevant standards, regulations, client and M&RC’s standards, procedures, polices and safety protocols
    • Proactive risk identification and mitigation and report timeously
    • Effective self-management and alignment with M&RC values and leadership initiatives

    Minimum requirements

    Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

    • Grade 12 or NQF level 4 equivalent
    • National Diploma in Quality Management or similar at NQF level 6 [essential]
    • Mechanical / Electrical / Construction / Mining FET Certificate at NQF level 4 or similar technical qualification [essential]
    • Introduction to ISO 9001 standard [essential]
    • ISO 9001 Auditing [preferred]
    • Proficient in MS Office [Word, Excel]
    • Valid Medical Certificate of Fitness to conduct underground visits
    • Valid First Aid Certificate and E or EB Driver's license
    • Ability to supervise a team of quality control assistants
    • Ability to read and interpret drawings and evaluate implementation and compliance thereto
    • Proactive and energetic individual with strong follow-through skills
    • Highly organised, systematic, observant and perceptive with strong attention to detail
    • Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels
    • Understanding of business management systems in an organisation
    • Knowledge of basic project management principles, project life-cycles and planning
    • Knowledge of SANS standards and specifications [advantageous]
    • Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
    • At least 3 years of experience in a similar quality control role in a project environment
    • Sector experience advantageous e.g. mining, fabrications etc.
