    Temporary Administrative / Member Support Assistant

    Job Purpose:

    Provide effective and efficient office, administrative and customer functions in the membership support  / client service department. Position is at the iMasFinance Rustenburg Office 
    (Please note this job is for temporary a period of 3 to 4 months - a fixed term contract)

    Job Outputs: 

    • Manage front desk & office administration
    • Day-to-day handling of inbound call queries and inbound email queries
    • Adherence to policies and procedures
    • Resolve complaints received and manage customer service experience
    • Maintain proper tracking of complaints
    • Provide support to members, manage office, administration and clerical duties
    • Office supplies & inventory levels; expense and costs record keeping

    Collections Agent: Secured

    Job Purpose:

    Conduct pro-active pre-legal debt collection and administration activities in order to make debt repayment arrangements with members for accounts in arrears or where members are in default of contractual arrangements Communicate with Employer Groups with regards to short / non-deductions from members’ salaries. Relationship building with external stake holders (Employer Groups) to reduce arrears and to be pro-active to prevent arrears.

    Enterprise Risk Manager

    Job Purpose:

    An opening exists as Enterprise Risk Manager to assist in developing and implementing risk policies and processes throughout the Group. The focus of the function is also to provide hands-on development of risk models involving market, credit and operational risk, assure controls are operating effectively, and provide research and analytical support in the area of risk management. Combined Assurance forms the basis for the assurance methodology of the Group and the Enterprise Risk Manager takes the lead for developing, maintaining, managing and executing of a comprehensive process for identifying, monitoring and reporting on risks that may impact organisational performance.

    Job Outputs:

    • Develop, implement and maintain an enterprise risk management framework, methodologies and supporting policies and procedures, including assurance in respect of its implementation based on ISO 31000 and COSO standards and principles
    • Deliver timely Risk Management analysis and advice to specific areas of the organisation to enable the business to be commercially successful and fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
    • Establish risk appetite and tolerance levels in alignment with the organisation's strategic objectives
    • Establish mechanisms to monitor and report on key risk indicators (KRIs) and other risk metrics
    • Conduct risk assessments on the design and operational effectiveness of key processes and produce timely control assurance reporting
    • Assist the business in identifying and formulating corrective strategies and implementation plans for key corrective actions and preventative controls
    • Develop a sound Risk Management culture within the Group
    • Collaborate with department heads and cross-functional teams to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans.
    • Recommend appropriate risk treatment options, such as risk avoidance, risk transfer, risk reduction, or risk acceptance
    • Develop, implement and maintain a Business Continuity Management framework, methodology and supporting policies and procedures
    • Facilitate the development of a business continuity management plan by providing support to other functional areas in the business in the development of their business risk- and business continuity management plans
    • Ensure the organization's risk management practices and policies are in compliance with regulatory requirements and recommend improvements when necessary
    • Co-ordinate and administrate the activities of the IMasFinance Executive Risk Management Committee
    • Preparation, submission and/or presentation of risk reports to the various stakeholders in forums such as Manco, Opsco, Exco, Audit and Risk Committee and other governance related forums within the business
    • Identifying current/actual and emerging risks through evaluating internal and external risk environment on a continuous basis
    • Establish and maintain a risk management culture and plan, develop and implement risk awareness communication and training in the organisation
    • Co-ordinate risk management with assurance providers and report risk related matters to relevant stakeholders
    • Build and maintain good stakeholder relationships

    Qualifications:

    • Matric Certificate
    • Relevant tertiary qualification including a Diploma or Degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing or Risk Management (essential/ minimum)
    • Post-graduate Degree in Business Management, Accounting or Finance (recommended)
    • Registration with the Risk Management Institute of South Africa (RMISA) (recommended)
    • Valid driver’s license

    Experience:

    • 8-10 years operational experience in Enterprise Risk Management (minimum/ essential), in the financial services industry
    • 8+ years general managerial experience (recommended)

    Knowledge and Skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work as a team member
    • A sound understanding of the credit and insurance industry and related risks
    • Strong knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and industry best practices
    • Strong communication skills, with experience communicating at the executive level
    • Excellent written and verbal skills to articulate technical issues associated to work area
    • Good facilitation skills
    • Computer literacy and a good knowledge of relevant software
    • Dynamic, energetic, articulate, collaborative, mature and confident
