    BI Front End Developer - (1272) - Parow

    Overview:

    • In this role you will be responsible for identifying business intelligence, reporting and needs analysis. You will work closely with various business areas and IT teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. Provide data that is accurate, congruent and reliable, and ensure the information is easily available to users for direct consumption or integration with other systems. Educate and train business users to use the data as an analytical tool, displaying the information in new forms and content for the purpose of analysis and option exploration.

    Skills, Experience & Education

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science/Information Systems /Business Management or specialised field.
    • 5-7 years Business Analysis or related technical experience Knowledge of one or more business functional areas
    • Provides design support for the development of business intelligence solutions.
    • Works on medium to complex and cross-functional IT and business intelligence solutions.
    • Works on multiple tasks/projects as a team member.
    • Excellent knowledge and experience with MS SQL Server applications and BI tools including: Reporting Services, Analysis Services, Integration Services, Data mining, T-SQL, Performance tuning and query optimization.

    Job Description

    • Execute checks on the water (daily / weekly), do sanitation / backwashing and check carbon / sand filters on bi-annual basis. Admin: capture data, i.e. water meter readings, monitor water usage and provide daily explanations. Monitor and report on usage / dosage of chemicals per shift.

    • In this role you will be involved in the development and execution of the annual Business Plan for Energy in CCPB. You will also be responsible for managing the relationship with the Monster Energy Company to localise plans and report on performance.
