    Floor Advisor

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Ordering, merchandising and selling of stock
    • Monthly control checks on stock (stock counting)
    • Assisting clients in store
    • Sorting and storage of goods
    • Be willing to work overtime when required
    • Adhere to Health & Safety requirements

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Computer literate
    • Knowledge of hardware as well as animal medicine
    • Good marketing skills  
    • Must be hard working and be able to work under pressure

    Marketer (Timber)

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Will report to the Area Manager for Mpumalanga
    • Identify Market needs for Timber (Mining Timber, Pulpwood and Saw timber)
    • Research, study and assess current market
    • Analyse competitors’ products and market
    • Create appropriate marketing strategies for timber
    • Coordinate with internal marketing, sales and accounts receivable department
    • Provide appropriate consultancy services to customers to enhance timber sales
    • Find prospective customers/clients and new target segment 
    • Process customer orders in a timely manner, ensuring the clients approval
    • Up-sell and cross-sell timber products or services to existing customers which will also include TWK operations and their relevant markets
    • Contact prospective customers and provide them with information on the company and the timber products/services provided
    • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external parties
    • Will have to be able to visit and support farmers from the Highveld and maintain close relationships with them directly
    • Assist with client queries and problems
    • Manage Mkondo Timber Depot
    • Assist with FSC , PEFC and COC systems and implementation with Suppliers and farmers
    • Liaise with all markets to ensure orders and quality is acceptable
    • Liaise with all Timber mills to ensure raw material production requirements are available 
    • Ensure monthly and quarterly forecasts for timber mills are provided 
    • Liaise with and arrange transport for timber products to markets
    • Fire duty during fire season
    • Be prepared to work after hours if and when necessary
    • Prepare annual budgets

    Qualifications and Skills

    • National Diploma in Forestry or BTech or relevant experience in the field
    • Minimum of 5 years’ forestry experience
    • Must be a strong team player
    • Computer literate in Word and Excel
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Valid Passport
    • Be prepared to work outdoors most of the day
    • Fully Bilingual (fluent English and Afrikaans) 
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Customer Service Experience
    • No criminal record

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Assist the manager in supervision of all the activities and services

    Cashier

    Responsibilities and Duties 

    • Bag, box, wrap merchandise and prepare packages for shipment
    • Compute and record transactions
    • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
    • Sort, count and wrap notes and coins
    • Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers or optical scanners
    • Greet customers entering establishments
    • Issue receipts, refunds, credits or change due to customers
    • Keep periodic balance sheets of amounts and numbers of transactions
    • Receive payment by cash or card
    • Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas

    Safety Officer

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Manage the Mill's Safety Department, ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) regulations and TWK safety policies
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of safety programs, audits, and risk assessments
    • Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are taken
    • Conduct employee safety training and awareness programs
    • Ensure compliance with RSR requirements, managing all aspects related to railway safety within the mill
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting on all safety-related matters 

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • A relevant qualification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
    • 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer, preferably in the timber, manufacturing, or logistics industries
    • Solid understanding of OHS regulations and Railway Safety Regulator standards
    • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a safety department
    • Strong communication, training, and interpersonal skills
    • Analytical thinking with a proactive approach to safety management
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
