    • As a Risk Agent, you’ll be monitoring money in and money out, you will protect business by enforcing compliance with regulatory requirement while ensuring the necessary actions are taken. This will help us excel at minimising the risk to business in order to stay ahead of the game.

    What you’ll be doing

    As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

    • Full and accurate assessments of all accounts, transactions and related documentation.
    • Review client transactions and ensure that detailed and accurate updates are recorded.
    • Evaluate customer accounts and take appropriate action as per risk policies.
    • Check all account information by using internal control reviews and record comprehensive details in each instance on various software applications.
    • Send all appropriate requests for documentation.
    • Review documents for legitimacy where necessary.
    • Ensure all requirements are met and accurate updates are entered on the system.
    • Withhold or release of certain transactions when required to do so (via direct order or decision, as per our risk acceptance criteria).
    • Report and record details of customers that do not meet legitimacy standards.
    • Extract information and review reports for incongruences.

    Software Engineer (Full Stack)

    • As a software engineer, you will focus on designing and developing robust, scalable, and efficient software solutions on the Javascript and .NET (C#) frameworks. You will be a key contributor to custom software solutions, working closely with other team members to deliver seamless integrations and high-quality products.

    What you’ll be doing

    Engineering

    • Build, maintain, enhance and deploy front-end and back-end applications according to company’s software engineering standards and aligning these standards to industry standards and best practices.
    • Unit-test all software artifacts.
    • Maintain current systems and develop new systems using the latest technologies.
    • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, and Product Manager teams in developing, testing, and deploying software components.
    • Provide second/third line support to IT for software deployed into company eco system.
    • Analyse and resolve complex and high impact production issues where required.
    • Monitor systems performance and ensure all SLAs are met.

    Documentation

    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, processes, and workflows for transparency and future reference.

    Essential skills you’ll bring to the table

    The necessary skills that we require for this role include:

    • Computer Science related degree, diploma, or similar qualification in software engineering. 
    • 3 to 5 years’ practical experience in the full software development life cycle as a software engineer or software developer.
    • Demonstrates solid understanding of Software Engineering design patterns and/or methodologies.
    • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming (OOP) principles, with a preference for experience in C# and the .NET framework.
    • Proficient in multiple languages, libraries & frameworks (e.g. C#, JavaScript, Angular, React, Vue, Node.js)
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.
    • Designing the database schema to store application data efficiently
    • Proficient in working with relational and nonrelational databases (e.g. SQL Server & MongoDB) and writing efficient TSQL queries.
    • Hands on experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes & Docker)
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
    • Strong knowledge of Devops practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
    • Demonstrates solid understanding of Software Testing fundamentals.
    • Demonstrates consistent passion for Technology and keeping up with the industry.

    Finance Manager

    • As a Finance Manager you’ll be responsible to drive the financial strategy, governance, and efficiency for various group companies. Key deliverables include overseeing corporate governance, audits, debtor and creditor functions, while optimizing revenue, controlling costs, and enhancing asset value. Additionally, your role involves financial reporting, stakeholder engagement, and aligning financial objectives with business strategies. You will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and bolstering the financial stability and value generation of the organization within the property industry. You need to be a focused, self-motivated & dynamic individual that can work at a fast pace in an ever-changing environment. Your role requires you to be highly numerate, well organised and able to work to tight deadlines. Attention to detail and extensive accounting and reconciliation experience is crucial. This will help us excel in delivering timeously to the senior management and shareholders of the organisation, to assist with their decision-making processes in driving the business enabling us to stay ahead of the game.

    What you’ll be doing

    Financial accounting and reporting:

    • Review of monthly management accounts including income statement and variance analysis, balance sheet and related reconciliations, intercompany billing calculations to ensure appropriate billing across entities and in line with contracts (includes review of prepayments and accruals to ensure all costs are billed)
    • Review all Trial balances to ensure completeness of the accounts
    • Review of open items reports to ensure that all transactions are reconciled, and queries resolved timeously, and all creditors paid timeously.  Follow up with team on long outstanding items. Ensure that notes are done
    • Query any anomalies and provide commentary on the accounts for review by the Senior Finance Manager
    • Ensure all standardization of reporting and schedules across all entities
    • Review and update summaries of income statement, balance sheet and open items (e.g. Opex report, balance notes etc)
    • Review commentary provided and ensure accuracy and completeness

    Property Company Management:

    • Manage financial aspects of property acquisitions, dispositions, and lease agreements.
    • Collaborate with property portfolio manager to optimize revenue, control costs, and enhance asset value.
    • Provide financial support for property development and capital improvement projects.

    Financial Reporting and Analysis:

    • Prepare and present financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections for the property company and facilities team.
    • Conduct regular financial reviews and performance assessments, providing insights for strategic decision-making.

    FloQast Management

    • Ensure all FloQast requirements and deadlines are met monthly, quarterly and annually
    • Ensure all relevant preparers complete FloQast tasks accurately, timelessly and efficiently
    • First review of relevant income statement and balance sheet reconciliations

    Corporate Governance and Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices in all financial operations.
    • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
    • Serve as a key liaison for internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support for audit processes.
    • Assist with the preparation of the quarterly and annual audit files.
    • Effectively communicate with auditors to ensure all audit queries are adequately resolved.
    • Ensure that all controls are adhered to, documented, and implemented for SOX compliance.
    • Obtain new contracts for new billing or changes required. Ensure termination agreements are received, filed and recorded on the contract matrix
    • Ensure all contracts are up to date and on file and recorded on the contract matrix
    • Internal billing and contract management. Review Internal billing on a regular basis to ensure that it remains practical and relevant

    Funds and Assets Management:

    • Run weekly Open Item Reports for all entities, query long outstanding items and request feedback on why invoices are not being paid.
    • Review and approve weekly payments, ensuring that the correct amounts and suppliers are paid.
    • Ensure timeous supplier and intergroup payments.
    • Ensure only qualifying items are Capitalized to the Property, Plant and Equipment fixed asset register and depreciated over the useful life
    • Ensure any systems development has been capitalized in the accounting records on the go live date and appropriate amortization and been applied.

    Robust and critical systems and controls:

    • Ensure that Business Central, TM1 and other systems operate effectively and efficiently for responsible companies.
    • Investigate and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiencies in the team.
    • Ensure that all accounting is in line with the Group’s accounting policies and procedures.
    • Draft process notes detailing how and why monthly tasks are performed to ensure business continuity.

    Team Management:

    • Day to day management of the financial accounting team
    • Co-ordinate functions in the team to ensure that all team members are working effectively and able to deliver reporting on time
    • Undertake bi-annual team appraisals and performance development reviews
    • Ensure team key deliverables are met on time and accurately
    • Provide guidance, mentoring and support to all direct reports to ensure your team is working efficiently and coherently
    • Bi-annual setting of team objectives
    • Manage all stakeholder expectations appropriately and communicate any potential problems

    Ad hoc:

    • Other ad hoc duties as may be required from time to time
