Main purpose of the role

• The role of a Production Control and Logistics Coordinator is to plan and support FES deployment, drive the implementation of PC&L tools and methodologies within a plant and create and implement improvement ideas.

Essential responsibilities and duties

The main missions of the role are:

• Ensure PC&L methods and tools implementation within a plant
• Provide plant with PC&L standards: MIFA, Milk run, levelling, Boards, Pull System, 7 Delivery & Inventory Basics…
• Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools, focusing primarily on 7 inventory basics
• Provide technical support to other functions when needed
• Train and coach plant employees when necessary
• Deploy visual management system in a way to improve reactivity in case of problem (Alert system)
• Identify and implement best practices
• Ensure Know-how capitalization and check that standard forms are used
• Carry out improvement workshops as needed
• Take the lead on PC&L related tasks/activities for all new programs and ensure successful implementation

Qualifications and position requirements

Minimum education level:  

• National Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Supply Chain Management

Experience :

• 2 or more years of experience in production in an industrial environment (automotive preferred)

Skills and competencies:

• Skilled problem solver
• Computer literate
• Experience in improving internal flows, packaging density and transport optimization

The PC&L improvement  graduate is accountable for

• Support Improvement Coordinator with the implementation on time of all the standards and best practices related to supply chain management of the plant, as a project leader, under the PC&L manager priority guidance, for serial life but also for upcomming programs, as a support,
• Improvement and support data tracking tools to manage Alerts and closing of picking alerts.
• The  update of all the standards in place for the plant ( Digitalization, automation) and their adequate diffusion within the plant ( including Documentation/instruction), as preferred contact point of PC&L improvements and PC&L projects  network.

Deliverables, Performance Indicators

• Systems And Tool Usage : New KPI Implementation Follow Up ( Incl Pod KPI), ( Parametrization For FCS For Ex, Process Readiness In The Shop Floor For Example)
• Process adherence to standards : co responsibility into FES X.O audit, ICB compliance, FCP and guideline compliance ( ex 7DB, 7IB)

Specific Activities

Process standardization and development

• Support the Improvement of the Plant PC&L improvement plan ( tools, process, benchmarks) and ensure the adherence to  PC&L standards (FCP), ICB, HSE, Safety and FES guidelines, lead the eventual convergence plan related to PC&L
• Communicate Improvement initiatives: train and coach plant employees when necessary and carry out progress workshops in accordance with the plant PC&L manager.
• Support management in the implementation of PC&L tools and provide technical support to other functions.
   

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Master's degree in engineering or supply-chain management or equivalent
• Experience in operations, especially in production or supply chain are a plus,
• Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
• Customer orientation / Leadership / Team spirit / Autonomy / Openness to new ideas
