    Test Analyst

    • An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Chartered Secretary with sound knowledge of corporate and investment banking (CIB), to join our group secretariat team in providing support to the portfolio.     • The post holder will provide strategic, governance and compliance guidance to the Boards and implement robust processes to guide the Boards in setting the strategy and effective decision-making.

     
    The key responsibility of the role is to act as the company secretary for all of the CIB entities. The CIB portfolio consists of 10 active entities, of which, 8 are regulated (JSE and FSCA). It also includes 18 entities that are passively trading, for which secretarial services are also required on a semi-annual or annual basis.     Accurate Report Generation:

    • Deliver accurate and timely data reporting as required by the Finance Reporting and Evaluation Manager, as well as other regional team members, including production of regular and ad hoc reports.

    • Complete all reporting templates for financial updates, employee participation and impacts/outcomes.

    • Work closely with teams to gather accurate (i.e. improve and refine process of data gathering) data from each of the countries and business divisions within the region and consolidate into one report to send to the team by required deadlines.

    • Execute Report generation over month end and on an adhoc basis

    • Well versed in web services paradigms such as REST and protocols such as HTTP.

    • Experience working on web applications and/or web-based technologies.

    • Proficient in multiple forms of test approaches for application testing including functional, cross-browser compatibility, mobile, web service, and integration testing etc..

    • Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and shell scripting.

    • Proficient in basic SQL operations such as joins and views.

    • Experience with SOAP, REST, RPC or other client-server API testing.

    • Experience in TFS, JIRA, and Confluence a plus.

    • Experience in Git or other source code management systems.

    • Comfortable in AGILE development environments and cross-functional team structures.

    • Experience with end-to-end SDLC, testing methodologies and test phases, including unit, assembly, system, integration, regression testing.

    • Strong work ethic and integrity.

    • Strong analytical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and attention to detail.

    • Demonstrated ability aptitude in logical and analytical thinking, as well as display strong problem solving skills.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent work experience
