    Business Development Consultant – ERP

    • As a business development consultant you will be responsible for driving growth through pursuit of new business opportunities from prospective clients. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Understand the legal industry and market segment, and integrate this knowledge into consultative selling.
    • Independently demonstrate applications to identified targets - primarily small to medium sized law firms.
    • Generate leads through leveraging networking opportunities and direct contact with identified prospects.
    • Follow through on leads received with prospects to understand their requirements and either drive the sale or collaborate with senior team members to close the sale.
    • Handover relationship to Implementation and Account Management Teams and also assist clients (where needed) during the post-sale system implementation process.
    • Collaborate with the internal Southern African Business Development team on executing the sales strategy.
    • Take responsibility for achieving personal sales targets and assisting the team to achieve the company wide targets.
    • Provide regular reporting to management on all sales activity.
    • Maintain and build relationships within the legal industry and with related industry bodies.
    • Build industry relationships to benefit the business, product and sales activities in related industries that work closely with the legal industry.
    • Cross sell other group products to both new and existing clients.
    • Participate in both internal and external marketing events and trade shows. 
    • Travel throughout Southern Africa as needed to drive sales activity.
    • Report to the GhostPractice Head of Client Services with close input from, and collaboration with, the GhostPractice CEO.
    • Execute ad hoc activities as required and/or directed.

    Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

    • 5+ Years experience with a legal technology or ERP provider.
    • 5+ Years experience in sales or customer relationship management.
    • Be target driven.
    • Be available to travel both domestically and internationally for group activities as required.

    Junior Accountant

    • In the position of Junior Accountant, you will ensure the accuracy of financial statements by preparing, recording, and analyzing the accounting and financial information for the South Africa Office. 
    • To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills as well as reporting skills, attention to detail, deadline-oriented, reporting research results, confidentiality, time management, data entry management, general math skills.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Strong Accounts Receivable including but not limited to generating invoices, processing payments, reconciling ledgers, contacting clients about overdue payments, resolving billing issues and producing financial reports
    • Processing and verifying of supplier invoices and reconciling monthly creditors ledger and ensuring timely payments.  
    • Support the accounting processes of the company and the preparation and presentation of financial statements under IFRS.
    • Prepare daily reconciliations for bank/cash accounts.
    • Prepare monthly reconciliation schedules for prepaids, customer deposits, revenue, sales tax, accruals, and other accounts.
    • Provide financial information to management by researching and analysing accounting data.
    • Review and analyze the results of the balance sheet and income statements, on a monthly basis to ensure that the monthly financial reports contain accurate and reliable information.
    • Tie-out support schedules to Balance sheet and Income statement.
    • Maintain customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
    • Support with monthly, quarterly and annual closings including preparation and posting of journal entries.
    • Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
    • Any other tasks as would reasonably be required.

    Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

    • Business /Accounting degree or Bookkeeping Certificate.
    • 2 or more years of experience in similar positions (Junior Accountant, Accounts Payable, Financial Analyst, Bookkeeper).
    • Experience in accounting processes such as bank reconciliations, accruals, fixed assets, leases and accounting reports.
    • Demonstrable experience in preparing financial statements under IFRS, tax preparation and settlements, structuring and documenting accounting processes.
    • Experience in related sectors, software, IT, services, etc.
    • Recent, commercial experience in financial accounting, preferably with exposure to a larger offshore group/global team. 
    • Excellent Excel and MS Office skills.
    • Desire to learn new skills. 
    • Be a future oriented individual, able to see the chance to make improvements and be excited by change.
    • Accounting software knowledge (i.e NetSuite)

    Regional Account Consultant (ERP)

    • This role requires an analytical, efficient and solutions focused individual to assist with onboarding clients and supporting them once live on GhostPractice- with the aim of retaining each client for the life of that firm. 

    Key Responsibilities

    Implementation

    • Understand all the functionality within the GhostPractice system.
    • Installing and setting up SQL, GhostPractice and related software.
    • Interviewing, collating and analysing data, software and processes at clients.
    • Functional testing of software and testing the integrity of the data along with the client.
    • Assisting the client with handholding and support during the Testing and Launch phases.
    • Preparing, executing and managing projects including project milestone management.
    • Creating, collating and maintaining project documentation and performing related administrative functions.

    Support

    • Assisting the support team as and when required.
    • Assisting client with support queries as and when required.

    Training

    • Train clients on all the functionality within the GhostPractice system.
    • Classroom or one-on-one Training of clients on GhostPractice.

    Account Management

    • Updating and maintaining CRM systems for account management functions performed.
    • Manage solution implementation.
    • Develop detailed GhostPractice bugnets for problems identified by clients or staff.
    • Provide client feedback and manage hotlist issues.
    • Assist with Billing and debtors query issue resolution.
    • Assist / manage implementation to support handover.
    • Assist with events, workshop and other clients related functions as required.
    • Assist with other general administrative and ad hoc tasks as required.

    Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

    • Well presented, good telephone etiquette and good writing ability.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills- fluent in English & Afrikaans (spoken & written).
    • Able to use Microsoft Office- primarily Outlook and Excel.
    • Good planning skills, problem-solving skills and good data analysis skills.
    • Bookkeeping skills (advantage if you have legal bookkeeping skills)
    • Ability to identify trends and issues and to understand the root causes of trends and/ or issues.
    • Liaise with people from various teams and manage delivery.
    • Superior working knowledge of GhostPractice or software programs.

    Qualifications 

    • Recognised Diploma in IT, Finance or Management 
    • MS Office Certification (Advantageous)
    • Degree in Finance, Management, IT or similar (Advantageous)
