    Financial Manager

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    Financial Operations Management

    • Serve as the main contact person for finance-related queries across the group
    • Manage the group's accounting department and review the work of bookkeepers
    • Manage Account Receivables
    • Approve payments and implement process improvements for finance procedures and internal controls
    • Consolidate group results and prepare month-end financial reports and Executive Committee packs
    • Perform other finance-related duties as required
    • Overall financial management of other smaller subsidiaries

    Overhead Budgeting

    • Provide budgetary input to the Finance Manager: Projects Accounting for the annual budget

    Treasury Management

    • Review daily and weekly cash flow requirements
    • Manage intercompany loan accounts and repayments to Lesedi Nuclear Services
    • Ensure sufficient cash availability in current accounts for payments
    • Support the preparation of cash flow forecasts for the group, with particular focus on overheads

    Statutory and Tax Compliance

    • Manage external financial audits
    • Oversee income tax, VAT and employee tax calculations and submissions for all companies in the group
    • Coordinate filing and reviewing of tax returns with auditors
    • Handle SARS audits, SARB approvals, and FICA compliance
    • Maintain CIPC updates and declaration of annual duties

    QUALIFICATION

    • CA (SA) or CIMA qualification (understanding of IFRS is crucial)

    EXPERIENCE

    • 2 to 4 years post-articles experience, preferably in energy, engineering, construction and/or mining sectors
    • Practical application of accounting and ERP software in a business environment
    • Advanced level experience with Excel spreadsheets and formulas (pivot tables, complex formulas)
    • Experience in consolidations in line with IFRS

    Construction Manager - Renewables

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

    • Oversee preparation for site implementation i.t.o. documentation, team appointments, readiness, facilities, reporting, etc.
    • Oversee project construction phase & support Project Managers in construction delivery.
    • Cover responsibilities as per clause 8.1 for Construction Regulations.
    • Ensure and coordinate with Construction Leads, that all materials; tooling; and materials handling; are delivered to site timeously.
    • Implement on-site storage and logistics system for all materials; tooling; and materials handling.
    • Provide input to outage planning.
    • Coordination and guidance to the Construction Leads.
    • Manage adjustments to implementation schedule as it progresses.
    • Coordinates the day-to-day activities and manage the required time schedules.

    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Engineer (B. Sc. Engineering degree or Similar. Professional Engineer Registration will be advantageous)
    • Registration as Construction Manager with SACPCMP.
    • 5 years construction-related experience on medium- large/complex projects.
    • Construction experience in energy section is advantageous.
    • Knowledge of Contracts NEC/FIDIC
    • Project Management Courses (PMP will be advantageous)
