    Principal Resource Geologist - Operations and Database

    Key Responsibilities:

    Regional Oversight and Support

    • Provide technical leadership and support to site-based database geologists across the region.
    • Serve as the primary regional point of contact for geological data integrity, validation, and reporting standards.
    • Facilitate the implementation and monitoring of consistent database workflows and QAQC protocols at all sites.

    Resource Geology & Estimation

    • Provide expert technical support for geological modelling and mineral resource estimation across the region.
    • Review, audit, and approve resource models to ensure they comply with international reporting standards (e.g., JORC, NI 43-101, SAMREC).
    • Support reconciliation processes and collaborate with mine planning teams to improve model accuracy and mine-to-mill performance.
    • Guide implementation of geostatistical methods and advanced modelling techniques

    Operational Geology Integration

    • Liaise with mine geology and production teams to ensure effective application of models in daily operations.
    • Monitor and improve grade control practices and alignment with resource models.
    • Facilitate the integration of short-term and long-term geological interpretations.

    Geological Database Management

    • Oversee the geological data management systems used at all sites, ensuring consistency, quality, and security of drillhole, assay, and survey data.
    • Develop and enforce regional database governance protocols and QA/QC procedures.
    • Ensure data workflows support timely and accurate updates to geological models.
    • Provide training and support on database platforms (e.g. Fusion, acQuire, Geobank, Datashed).

    Best Practices and Standardisation

    • Develop, document, and enforce geological data management standards aligned with international reporting codes (JORC, NI 43-101, SAMREC, etc.).
    • Collaborate with corporate and regional teams to ensure consistency of data structures, validation routines, and geological coding conventions.
    • Lead periodic audits of site databases and QAQC processes to identify gaps, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance.

    Training and Development

    • Mentor and develop site-based geologists and database administrators in modeling, estimation, and data management.
    • Conduct internal audits and readiness reviews to support public reporting and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensure all technical reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with corporate standards.

    Cross-Functional & Strategic Support

    • Contribute to exploration-to-resource conversion strategies and integrate new drilling data into regional resource plans.
    • Support M&A technical evaluations, due diligence, and project development activities.
    • Collaborate with IT and data teams to support system upgrades and integration of new tools.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related field (postgraduate qualification preferred).
    • 12+ years’ experience in geology roles, including database/resource geology and multi-site or regional responsibility.
    • Strong proficiency in geological database systems (e.g., Acquire, Geobank, Fusion) and modelling software (e.g., Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine).
    • Deep understanding of QAQC protocols, sampling theory, geostatistics, and geological logging standards.
    • Demonstrated experience in mentoring, team development, and technical training.
    • Familiarity with international resource reporting standards (JORC, NI 43-101, etc.).
    • Recognised Competent/Qualified Person under a public reporting code is preferred.

    Planning Superintendent

    Key Responsibilities

    • Developing long term mine plans to support the budget, life of mine plan, scenario planning and project planning.
    • Undertaking equipment planning to ensure the execution of long-term plans.
    • Measuring the execution of the equipment plan against medium and long terms plans and reporting compliance.
    • Supporting monthly reporting activities related to production forecasting.
    • Assisting with monthly forecasting processes and the execution of business improvement initiatives.
    • Assisting with the facilitation of pre-emptive risk assessments and process of obtaining approval of designs relating to mine design (excavations/dumps/ramps/bridges).
    • Conducting resource optimization forecast monitoring on an ongoing basis.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Mining Engineering, Mineral Resource Management, or Geology).
    • Provisional Blasting Certificate.

    Minimum Experience:

    • Experience in a production or planning environment at a C-Upper level; OR
    • Completion of the Graduate Development Program and experience in a production or planning environment.
    • Proficiency in relevant scheduling and planning software will be advantageous.

    Manager – Health, Safety & Environmental

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental standards are met as per policies and procedures.
    • Contributing to Strategy development and compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental targets at Complex level.
    • Managing Health, Safety and Environmental Systems.
    • Establishing and maintaining effective communication and engagement channels with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.
    • Managing, supporting and utilising people effectively.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • A relevant tertiary qualification (NQF Level 7) in Health, Safety, Environment, Mining or Engineering.

    Minimum Experience:

    • 4 years’ Mining experience at a Superintendent level or 2 years’ experience at D4 level.
    • Exposure to all three disciplines in Health Safety and Environment.
